Norsk Hydro has bid for $300 mln for Asia Aluminum Assets

Norsk Hydro ASA, an aluminum product producer based in Norway, has offered $300 million to purchase the assets of bankrupted Asia Aluminum Holdings Ltd., outbidding Golden Concord Pacific's offer of $298 million, a source close to Asia Aluminum told Interfax on June 23.
