Alcoa and Italian Trade Unions Agree on Investments

U.S. aluminium producer Alcoa Inc. (AA.N) has struck a 95 million euro ($118 million) investment deal with Italian trade unions.  The deal is for the unions to support Alcoa’s two Italian plants.

Managers of Alcoa’s Italian unit were quoted saying:

“The company confirms its will to remain in Italy with two production sites.”
